About Ray Hamblett

Ray was born in Shoreham-by-sea, West Sussex in 1958, he lived in Portslade until 1987 when he married and moved to Lancing. He has had an interest in wildlife, photography and the environment for many years.

In 2004 this led to the project of the Lancing Nature Galleries in which the wildlife he has found in and around his hometown are recorded for the website.
Facebook and social media has largely done away with the need for this kind of site but as of July 2023 there will be some occassional updates and site maintenance.
